Anti-Corruption Profile: Seychelles’ anti-corruption agency, the Anti-Corruption Commission of Seychelles (ACCS), was created pursuant to the Anti-Corruption Act of 2016, under Article 4(1), granting it the legal personality to sue and to be sued in its own name. Among other functions outlined in Article 5(1) of the 2016 Act, the ACCS is endowed with investigating corruption and corruption-related allegations, raise awareness and educate the public on anti-corruption measures, and to also file or conduct cases on the basis of its investigations.
